This is the second cast of one of Tommy Rowe's largest sculptures, and one of his finest compositions to date. The two forms rest in harmony on a richly coloured wood base, a departure from the traditional use of slate. Rowe has developed a technique of hollow casting which has significantly reduced the weight of the piece without loss of integrity.
