With over a decade’s experience working in wood, Fox utilises the same techniques as traditional boat builders, bonding sections of sycamore to create elegant and lyrical sculptures that emphasise the relationship between form and void. Fox has expanded his repertoire in recent years to concentrate on bronze, stone and marble. White Ravel in H V, inspired by musical score, is one of his last works in this medium.
