We are delighted to tell you how the next few months will shape up at The Nine British Art. With a fantastic new exhibition by Jonathan S Hooper and London Art Fair 2022 coming up, together with a new way to view our artworks online, we are looking forward with some enthusiasm to a new year of Modern British, St Ives and Contemporary Art in the gallery.
Jonathan S Hooper: Between the Granite and The Strandline
Exhibition Dates: 9th - 31st March 2022
The follow-up to In Landscape, Jonathan Hooper’s first, hugely successful show at The Nine British Art, this new exhibition finds the Cornish painter reaching new heights. Between the Granite and The Strandline takes as its subject the wind-carved tors of North Cornwall’s moors and the cliffs and bays of its coastline. While undeniably about landscape, the elemental and spiritual are also at play in Hooper's abstract art. By constructing, deconstructing and reconstructing his canvases, in this new exhibition presents places as ever-changing worlds of experience.

London Art Fair - 20th - 24th April
London Art Fair will now take place from Wednesday 20th - Sunday 24th April at the Business Design Centre in Islington. Our stand will have a focus on a wide range of sculpture for this year’s fair, alongside a selection of Post War, Modern British and Contemporary paintings. You will find us on Stand 39 at this year’s fair – we look forward to seeing you.
